H. Wayne McKamie, JR. M.ED., LPC, LCSW

Mr. McKamie is the President and Founder of Longview Counseling Center and Focus Seminars of Kansas City, Inc. He is licensed for therapy in Missouri as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has over 30 years of experience working with individuals (adults and teens), couples and families to help restore the balance and gain momentum in life. Wayne is a national speaker, author of The Passionate Heroic Zone, and a radio host. Mr. McKamie enjoys working with CEOs and organizations in building strong teams and leaders.

Bryan Vignery, PLPC, M.A.

Mr. Vignery is Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri. Mr. Vignery holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Avila University and his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Through his own personal growth and acceptance, Mr. Vignery assists others to explore and identify their strength and growth areas and encourages them to trust the process of life. Some of his professional accomplishments include being a certified PREPARE/ENRICH counselor for premarital and marital counseling. He is the camp director for Teen Focus Camps and is a lead trainer for Focus Seminars of Kansas City, Inc.

Dawna J. Grigsby, PLPC, M.A.

Ms. Grigsby enjoyed receiving her education from UMKC where she earned a masters degree in Counseling. She currently works with clients on specific concerns and specializes in individual and family therapy. She offers a unique opportunity to manage stress through using a combination of biofeedback training and relaxation techniques. Ms. Grigsby believes that success is a combination of capacity, intention, inspiration and action. As a counselor in private practice, she facilitates personal success in relationships, work, and goal attainment. Since she began working at Longview Counseling Center she has openly used her talents of understanding and uplifting as a therapist and life coach. Ms. Grigsby specializes in helping you heal yourself.

Jessica Rohrer, M.S.

Mrs. Rohrer received her Master’s degree in counseling from Drake University. She is very passionate and enjoys connecting with individuals who are interested in self-growth, change and strengthening their relationships. She offers many options to therapy with art, play and relaxation techniques. She is also trained in Resonance Repatterning, Emotional Transformational Therapy and Psychodrama. Jessica is involved in Focus Seminars of Kansas City, Inc. and enjoys supporting graduates in continuation of growth and healing. She has a diverse practice experience and has worked with clients on issues including grief and loss, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, substance abuse, couples and families, self-esteem, supporting clients in making life changes and empowering them to follow their dreams.

Alex Reed LMSW, PLCSW

Mr. Reed received his Masters of Social Work degree from Kansas University and utilizes the Strengths Perspective in providing therapeutic intervention to assist clients in maximizing their potential in personal growth. His experiences include working in residential behavioral health, providing in-home services and out-patient counseling, case management, teaching, coaching sports, mentoring, chaplaincy, and developing and directing various programs that provided services to youth and their families.
